The 10th Annual Race to Any Place, Presented by TRIB Total Media, GNC and UPMC Health Plan, is the largest stationary bike race in Western Pennsylvania, and an important team fund-raising event benefiting the Western Pennsylvania and West Virginia Chapter of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
Team Competition
The Race to Any Place is a six-hour relay race, comprised of twenty-four 15 minute heats.
- Teams race on either an Airdyne or Spinning cycle.
- Team registration includes 12 riders for $500 (more riders can be added at an additional cost of $40 per rider).
- Each rider must complete a minimum of a 15-minute heat, and teams may only change riders as new heats are announced.
- Compete against over 80 other teams for the most mileage and pledges.
Individual Competition
Indivduals may compete alone in up to two consecutive or non-consecutive heats.
- Individual registration costs $40.
- Race on a Schwinn Airdyne cycle.
- Compete in up to two 15-minute heats.
- Compete against over 800 riders for the "Best Heat of the Day."
